I

From Amaravati to the City of London

I grew up in India, competed for and won the Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarship at Newcastle University — a merit-based award of £7,000 per year — and moved to the United Kingdom to pursue an MSc in Management. That transition was not accidental. It was the next logical step in a deliberate career trajectory.

Before Newcastle I worked as a Business Analyst at Wishon Jobs, supporting five concurrent client engagements, converting messy datasets into decision-ready outputs and writing recommendations that moved senior stakeholders. At the same time I consulted on operations at a manufacturing unit in Karnataka — identifying the actual root cause of delivery failures rather than the assumed one and implementing process changes that held. Neither role was theoretical. Both were real.

I completed the McKinsey Forward Program — a selective global leadership curriculum — and bring fluency in SQL, Python, Power BI and Advanced Excel to every engagement. My goal is a career in management consulting where rigour, structured thinking and commercial instinct are the baseline.

Eight Days. Two Villages. One Finding That Changed the Brief.

Organisation: Dhaatri Resource Centre for Women and Children

In my final year at VIT-AP I was selected for a government-commissioned social research engagement — one that took me away from the classroom and into Naikpod tribal communities in Adilabad, Telangana, to examine implementation failures in national rural employment and forest rights schemes.

Over eight days I conducted structured fieldwork across two villages — applying Participatory Rural Appraisal, Focus Group Discussions, household survey methodology and direct stakeholder interviews with an NGO founder and the Mandal MPDO.

What I found was not what the government data said. Only 6 of 35 households held Individual Forest Rights despite the entire village being legally eligible — and despite years of repeated applications being silently ignored by local officials. That gap became the centrepiece of a findings report that reached senior government decision-makers with two of four recommendations subsequently adopted.

Critical Gap Surfaced

Only 6 of 35 eligible households held Individual Forest Rights (IFR Patta) despite repeated applications — a critical divergence between legislative intent and on-ground delivery.

  • School infrastructure audit across two village primary schools
  • Focus Group Discussions with women on water, energy and sanitation
  • Stakeholder interviews: CCD Utnoor NGO founder and Mandal MPDO
  • Quantitative analysis of forest rights access gaps versus legislative intent
  • Written findings report with four actionable policy recommendations
  • Oral presentation to senior government officials
